Abundant Harvest Proceeds with Holiday Food Drive
Hello Everyone!
Yesterday we briefly discussed that due to the phenomenal success of the Thanksgiving ‘Feed the Hunger,’ campaign we’ve decided to move forward with a new campaign for the holidays called ‘Give the Gift of Food.’
This time around we are looking to gain participation from the interfaith council as we all share the same goal. According to recent statistics conducted by the Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, 38% of Los Angeles County’s population live in economic hardship while 17.5% live under the federal poverty limit.

The hunger needs to stop now, and we need your help to do something about it. As you may recall, we were able to collect monetary donations up to $5,000 to help us provide a Thanksgiving meal to those less fortunate. Not only did we gain a great sum of money through donations, but because of the drop off stations we had set up at participating schools all over the valley, we were able to provide many other goods to families who needed it.
We have already partnered up with the Catholic Charities of Los Angeles organization, and they have agreed to accept monetary and food donations at their place of worship. In this effort, we reach out to other religious institutes to help us succeed yet again before the end of the year.
More information on how one can participate in the ‘Give the Gift of Food,’ campaign will be up shortly, stayed tuned!
